HUGS projects in the making……restaurant and prayer garden at Holy Grounds Cafe….restaurant garden at True West….. (support these local businesses!) Partnering with the Culinary and Early Childhood Education departments at Butler Tech. to reestablish their greenhouse for educational use and school fundraising….Establishing gardens with parishioners of St. Julie Billiart and the Reynold Street Community Gardens by The Gathering in Middletown…. Starting our second year garden at St. Raphael which provides fresh produce for the Community Meal Center…… Second year of raised bed gardens at Schroeder Manor…..
We are busy, busy…. but if you or your organization, business or institution are interested in joining us in the movement towards growing and eating fresh, locally grown produce please contact us.
Community Garden Plots available in Hamilton, OH
Hamilton Urban Garden System Foundation (HUGS) has individual 10’ X 10’ and 20’ X 20’ community garden plots available for spring planting (plots are $10.00 and $15.00 respectively). Larger Plots are available for church, organization, or group planting.
Plots are available in two locations; on Marshall Ave. off of University Ave. on the East-side of Hamilton, and at Wilson Park on Cleveland Ave. on the West-side of Hamilton.

The “Food Revolution” is alive and well in Hamilton, Ohio. It includes community gardens at public schools, on city owned lots such as those under construction at the Wilson Pool and University Commerce parks, on private lots and also on organization property such as the garden at the Fitton Family YMCA. Thanks to all supporters and gardeners that are making this happen. The value of your effort is immeasurable.
